On July 21, 2022, John Daniele, the Managing Director of DNC Cybersecurity and President Progressive World Federalists, presented on Malign Influence Operations in Narrative Warfare. Following presentation, a question-and-answer period ensued wherein questions were collected from audience CASIS-Vancouver executives. The major points discussed throughout event included how malign influence manipulates public opinion causes social disruption; key tools used this form persuasion; online network effect operations that involve fake accounts state-sponsored trolling; possible solutions to operations.
